Football Tabletop and Card Game Development

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I don't think it applies anywhere else. I use to play electric football with my dad growing up and though it was fun there was really no strategy or control involved. I began playing video games but they limit your imagination, and you can get glued to that television screen.

I dunno if many of you have ever heard of tabletop games, but a few friends of mine are into games like Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons. They are very nerdy, but also in some ways fun. I could never bring myself to play them.

Tonight though, it hit me. A football table top/card game might actually be fun. You could use miniatures from electric football and move them and play much like other games, but develop the game to be true to football and strategy. Each player could have his own card with ratings and such. We could find simplified ways to do a draft, free agency, and even interviews with reporters.

I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to help me develop a Football tabletop game. We need to develop two parts: a) on field game and off field game. I would like the game to be focused on on-field production, but let team off field events play a big role too.

I know there would be major gray areas, but we could have each game overseen by a Commissioner, much like D&D uses a "Dungeon Master".

If we developed a game like this we could have an environment for create people to meet together and talk football strategy, use their imagination within the game to control a "diva" receiver's off field issues, or develop a young rookie quarterback.

On field they could hold their breath as they have to roll a doubles for their kicker to make a 55 yard field goal to win the game in overtime.

I'm looking for as many people with various abilities as possible. I'd like to incorporate cards, miniatures, dice, and a human element into the game and make it as detailed as possible without losing people with its complexity. If anyone is interested message me on here, or PM me. We can exchange IM accounts and discuss this further!
