I saw the article yesterday where people are protesting over this. This is crazy. I understand someone could have gotten hurt, but that didn't happen and Walmart didn't do anything wrong. Even crazier, someone called 911 when it happened. What are you doing calling 911?

I don't see how Walmart is to blame at all here. Anyone in a store can pick up a store line, hit 0 and say anything. That's true of any store. Wal-Mart has so much traffic coming in and out of their stores, in some areas Wal-Mart is like a hang out mall....

I know at the Walmart that is closes to me, it is a 24 hour super walmart. College kids and high school kids, even middle school kids hang out there ALL the time, especially on the weekends.
They be up in there almost to midnight, mainly because out here, everything else closes at 9pm, except for the movie theatre. Even the mall closes at 9pm and it closes at 6pm on Sundays.
So basically kids out here have nothing else to do but hang out at Walmart. And last I counted or remembered seeing, there are around 15 phones scattered through out this particular store.
An easy fix would just make it where as you had to use a casheir's ID number in order to use the PA system. Or make it where as ONLY the assistant managers or co managers had the pass code for it. The same way they have it if you want to lower the back rack from the ceiling, only assistant and co managers have that password.Comment

Yeah...they arrested a 16 year old kid and are charging him with stuff.
The NAACP has commented, it just seems like overkill for some idiot HS kid pulling a prank...I'm not saying what he did is right (it's 100% not), just don't see why a HS kid pranking people is national news causing a total uproar. Doesn't the NAACP have better things to do that actually help people?

lol, it was a stupid prank by a stupid kid. Even bringing up Columbine really does show how irrational some people are in thinking.
