I'll be praying for you and your family. I pray your dad gets through this and you find peace during this challenge.

I'm praying for you. My dad has had two major heart attacks, so I know what it's like. I'll be thinking about you amd him....

              Thank you all.

So to update you, he was transferred yesterday and they discovered some blocking to his heart, and last night my mom and dad were making the decision of either putting stints in his heart or having open-heart surgery. I feared the latter, but I feel that if successful it would have been much better in the end. I think that my mom doesn't want to take the risk quite as much, so they're going to go with the stints. He's already had that before (that's what I meant by "surgery" in my first post, I guess I was technically incorrect), so we'll see how this does.

My mom is down there now, I think he's getting it done today. Maybe he'll be home tomorrow. Heh, my whole Spring Break and he hasn't really been around. It's just too bad, but if it saves him I'll be glad.

Re: Please pray for my father

So my dad returned home tonight! He crashed asleep right on the couch when he did, but he's home. He went with the stints, so the recovery process should be much faster than open heart surgery would have been.

Thank you all for being there for me! Five days with my dad in the hospital is a long time for me to endure.

Now sit back and turn on the Giants, and enjoy some baseball with your dad.

Sorry guys, I guess I misinformed you.

I was led to believe (by original plans) that my dad was getting the procedure done when he was in the hospital for those five days, which actually surprised me that he was out so early after the procedure. Turns out he didn't have it yet, and he's actually having it tomorrow. I think he had to get something into or out of his system or something before it.

Though he came home looking healthy as ever, so at least he'll go into it strong.
