Re: Spokeo.com
Well my basic information was pulled off my Myspace profile, but even then the only accurate thing was my pictures. It chose my screenname as my real name and the location was wrong.
However, with my school e-mail address, it found pretty much everything, my name, address, area of study, etc. But that can be found just using the school's search engine, so that's not surprising to me.
Is there any difference between this and any other reverse look-up service?

Re: Spokeo.com
Kinda scary in a way though. As we put more and more info about ourselves out there on the net this sort of thing will only get more invasive.
Imagine you get into an argument with someone online, they search and find out your address then drive round and shoot you etc. Not impossible to think that could happen.Comment

Re: Spokeo.com
My name and my phone number didn't pull up really any info, but my email address had a lot. Basically facebook, twitter and 4 other social networking sites, although not sure what they are. I don't really put things on those that I don't want others to see. I don't know how much more it would tell me if I paid for the full report. I don't like it, but I understand the internet is a dangerous place and you should be very careful about what you put on it. There are plenty of things that are on the internet that other people put on there about you, so you just need to control what you can.PSN: Koolie_G

Re: Spokeo.com
I'd be careful about giving them (or any site that allows opt outs) your email. All it really does is confirm to them that your email is a valid one and allow them to sell it to spammers.Comment
