OS' fascination with 'girl/women problems' threads....

Since I've been here, they're have been 3 topics that would always get over 100 responses no matter what....2K vs. Madden, Kobe Bryant, and women threads.

We seem to be fascinated in other grown men's plight with the opposite sex on a sports videogame message board. What is it with us?

It's pretty obvious why they're posted: guys that don't have booty want booty.

I think the guys who have booty live vicariously through those that don't because there's this innate want to get back into the hunt, so to speak.

Every social board that attracts teenagers and people in their early 20s has "girl problems" threads.

It's nothing to do with it being a sports video game board - it has to do with it being filled with men. Any forum that has a large amount of males has lots of posts about women; it's just how we are.

It's because no one knows women like men who spend too much time on the internet.

I haven no problem with the threads though. They are always entertaining and we all have needed woman advice one time or another.

Some people rather asked guys online who don't really know them, then going to their friends/family.

So does this mean I should cancel my trip to Texas? Not cool, man.

Agreed its much easier to talk about your girl problems or any problem online then go talk to friends, co-workers, etc face to face about it. A lot of guys don't like to talk about their problems, especially when it comes to females but the internet makes it so much easier to ask these questions.

Simple its a PG site. After talking about sliders and why (insert name here) should be starting what else is there to talk about?

I for one enjoy them. Always entertaining and to be honest this is the perfect stage for someone to vent/ask a question.

Getting judged by people you well never personally know isn't all that bad.
