We took a Southwest up to visit SF and stayed in Oakland. We both wanted to stay up there for the rest of the vacation and not go back to LA. I really would love to move there, but would probably live outside of the city. It's so dang expensive out there. I have family in both Oakland and Berkeley. We also have friends in Benicia. Maybe I should go visit them! I just think it's funny I still remember the Buttercup. That place was so good to me. All the nice places to eat, and here I love this diner! LOL!

We also went to some mall in Hayward. It was pretty nice. I remember it because I was trying to find a game store to get NCAA early. But, yeah, I'm jealous. Bay-Area is the bomb. Just hope it doesn't get a big earthquake in the near future, they seem to be going around.... BTW, did they get the highway fixed from that truck that burned?
yea we are due for another "Big one" last huge one was in '89 ... i remember it like it was yesterday even though i was a kid.

as far as the highway im not sure whihc one you are talking about.

the city is exspensive but...you also have to rmemeber jobs probably pay more out here...either way though...its way worth it.

It was I-880. Just looked it up, they already fixed it. Yeah, everything pays better out there. But they still get it back. I'm sure it's worth it. Man, you got me wishing I was out there. I still remember 89'. I was watching the WS on TV when it hit. I was a bit older than a kid, though... I was only 23 then...
