It's not hard when your sandwich features two pieces of bread, 1 piece of chicken, and 2 pickles. lol. Just kidding. But I've never had anything at Chick-Fil-A other than their main chicken sandwich. So good.

Their club combo is delicious. Chicken sandwich + waffle fries + sweet tea = heaven.

At the State Fair of Texas they have fried food galore. Couple things I remember that haven't been discussed is fried butter and fried coke. Haven't tried them at all, but I did see one of the people on the Food Network try the fried coke and he said it tasted just like coke...except fried. Go figure.

Someone please explain to me how the hell you fry coke.

Yeah I remember years ago they had a special on how fast food commercials are made. They showed how the food isn't full cooked and how under the food is a piece of sterofoam colored the same as the meat to make it look all full and fluffy.

I think i saw that one. They do some real dodgy stuff like spaying the individual flakes of a bowl of cornflakes so each one looks perfect and draw on grill lines on meat etc. They should have to take a real photo of the product they serve in stores which usually looks like a small, congealed, pathetic version of the advertisements.

Someone please explain to me how the hell you fry coke.

I was wondering that as well. How do you deep fry a liquid?

Deep Fry Coke is all the rage at state fairs. If this dessert sounds weird to you, recall that cornbread around a hotdog on a stick probably sounded weird, but the corndog has become a regular at state fairs everywhere. Today almost everything can be fried, including Coca Cola.

In other gluttony-related news, I'll be making two different bacon jams to use as a spread (one savory, one sweet). Makes a mean-*** BLT, but I'm planning the sweet one for some Bacon Rolls (i.e. cinnamon rolls). They will have a maple glaze, and they will be delicious.
