                        Here's a homemade version with quality ingredients... it's basically a big-*** Chicken Cordon Bleu: http://www.seriouseats.com/2010/04/h...ch-recipe.html



                        And the real idea that KFC should've done... the Double Down Junior (made with the leftover tenderloin snipped off the breasts):

                                    Yeah if they sold those smaller ones at $1.99, they'd make a killing. Well that, and if it wasn't a piece of crap by the time it arrived to you, with cheese solidified into plasticy goo and the breading wet with garbage sauce. Note that I haven't actually eaten it, but they really didn't design it well...

                                                    Only 540 calories, definitely thought it'd be more. That being said, I still wouldn't eat one because of the fat and cholesterol plus I think it would be far to greasy for my taste.

                                                            But it probably won't be a very long or healthy life if you eat a lot of that stuff. Especially if you have a family history of heart disease and high cholesterol.
