Calories are the least of the concern regarding this thing. Sodium/fat is the main one, but also the fact that it's made with the same ****ty tortured chickens they use for all their products. Mmmmm, tastes like agony.

The calories are about 600 with 32 grams of fat per KFC but an independent lab tested it and said it was actually more in the 800 calories range. I guess the grilled one has about 20 or so grams of fat. I think it's hilarious. I wonder how this will fit into my new healthy lifestyle with losing weight and all???

Yeah a lot of food/products are higher in calories then what the nutrition label tells you. I was shocked how relatively low this thing was in calories.

Well yeah, Tyson and Perdue are the main issues here, but KFC has such a gigantic market share chicken-wise that (like Mcdonald's) they could almost single-handedly change those practices. KFC Canada started getting all of their product from places that do the "gas chamber" killing rather than the old "try to kill them first but probably just end up scalding them alive" method that is still happening across much of the country. But yeah, eating meats from any fast food outlets is pretty much a guarantee that you're eating some factory farmed craziness that was tortured before it died. Good Times and a few other burger places get their beef from natural sources, but it's pretty rare.

Mcdonald's in particular though has taken the lead on this kind of stuff. Wal-Mart is actually doing a lot of good for local farmers with their focus on fresh produce and organics -- they're buying so much of that stuff and getting quite a lot of it from local sources that may have been previously unable to support farming. Apparently Arkansas had some great agriculture in the past, but the giant factory farms in Cali and elsewhere took them out of the market.. Wally World has been buying their stuff in large numbers so it's becoming profitable for them again. I'm begrudgingly warming up to Wal-Mart and McDonald's, even though their primary concerns are always bottom-line $$$$. Nice to see that the market is sending them in the right direction for the most part.

Seems like KFC, Carl's Jr. and BK are just giving all of that the middle finger and catering to Fat America hardcore. I cannot believe that nutritional comparison list -- BK and those cats are all over that thing with their Baconator and Quad stack contraptions... holy crap.

LOL, that reminded me of the Dave Chappelle stand up. Now if you only mentioned grape drink instead of orange soda it would of been spot on.

Yeah I don't understand how these companies haven't faced even close to the criticism that McDonald's has faced with their food. I understand McDonald's is the most popular fast food chain, but BK is much worse then McD's with their food.

My roommate tried one today. Said it tasted pretty amazing and actually felt fine after eating it.

a huge uproar about this sandwich, yet there's more ish in the damn 3 piece meal. so, WTF.
