Sniping is when you get an auction item at the last second or get a good deal on a card. And grinding is just playing a lot.

Not sure if you're joking or not. But here's a better explanation:

Grind: A word used in any MMO representing the repetitive actions taken in order to make the character stronger.
Gamer1: Yeah, I'll probably grind all weekend trying to get to that map.
Gamer2: Man, it'll take forever.
Gamer1: I know, but I'll make it happen. I'm looking forward to my next set of gear.

Snipe: To bid on an eBay auction minutes before it ends, hoping that others will not be able to place a higher bid in time.
Damn! I thought I won that item, but somebody sniped it!

I'm gonna have to go back and re-read the thread so all this stuff makes sense. Keep in mind you're talking to a guy that earlier in the year had to ask what a "point and click" game was lol. I'm extremely out of touch, the first time I heard the word "snipe" I figured it meant three point shooter

reading through the thread only made it worse, I don't even know what MT is, and if it wasn't for a Bernard King reference I wouldn't know it was about basketball, I need to go lay down

edit: omg I'm an idiot the subsection is literally labeled MyTeam and I couldn't figure out what MT meant, wow

This one is becoming entertaining. New thing gets introduced. Someone doesn't agree with it so vents. Someone else tries to explain new thing. And then they bicker back and forth. Classic OS.

I'd also add that make sure you change your passwords so your quotes don't get hacked.

The thread itself is pretty standard Dallas fan BS, or at least Classic OS style but it went to the next level with the quote hack.
