Really?
I’d say the gap between those 2 in that department are still far apart.#RespectTheCultureComment

What the are you referring to? The 2k forums or the actual NBA forum?
I don't step near the 2k forum so that may be the case.

Re: Classic Threads (Some funny, Some Sad, Some that are Disturbing)
It can kinda be both, but I've oddly encountered more "aggressive" opinionating in the Pro Basketball forum (which I no longer frequent) than the 2K forum. But it's been a long time since I went to the pro basketball forum outside of the tiny niche that is the team-specific forums, so that may have gotten better.
I saw pretty early on where that thing was headed and decided to check out around April, once it was abundantly clear that fact-based discussion and nuanced argument were not going to be the order of the day there. In many ways, I guess it mirrored how the larger national conversation went, with no one listening to anyone else and everyone entrenched in their own camp/set of context-less "stats" very early on.
I'm frankly surprised it lasted as long as it did, since it seemed like a dialogue between 2-3 people who were the most, I guess enthusiastic (insert your favorite euphamism here), about their opinions were the only ones posting. And seemingly doing it by the minute in real time, no less...Comment

yeah, it's such a controversial topic it might as well fall into the same slot in the OS ToS as drugs, religion, politics, race and sex. there will never be an overwhelming consensus on what the best approach is/was. the sooner we can put this chapter in American/world history far behind us won't come too soon for me. January/February 2020 seems so long ago that might as well be January/February 2000OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Weird. Never really gotten that vibe. There's certainly some strong minded discussions, but I don't ever remember anyone attacking each other personally apart from the usual jokes. It can kinda be both, but I've oddly encountered more "aggressive" opinionating in the Pro Basketball forum (which I no longer frequent) than the 2K forum. Unless you're referring to Jeebs and his nickname for Kawhi Leonard. Then I think we are all on the same page there hahaha.

Not quite the legendary level of Tony's LPGA in terms of dedication w/o an audience, but here is a thread of updates on a roster project for a game in which you cannot share rosters
Chicago Cubs
Michigan Wolverines

too bad he's doing this for XBox, I'd enjoy not being able to use them for PlayStation, not interested in not having them for XBoxNot quite the legendary level of Tony's LPGA in terms of dedication w/o an audience, but here is a thread of updates on a roster project for a game in which you cannot share rosters

So is the ongoing Freemasons thread considered a classic thread yet, or is there some sort of Hall of Fame type waiting period?Comment

*note to self*
self, see to it Jolly Roger's name is turned over and reported to Dear Leader and other high level superiors for suggesting the Freemasons are ''funny, sad, and/or disturbing''
