i would really love to hear bob dylan do a cover of lynyrd skynyrd's ''freebird'' . does anyone else have a fantasy wish of a musical artist covering another artist or groups song ? how about the red hot chili peppers redoing eagles ''hotel california''?

No and no.

I would like to hear what The Black Keys could do with some old blues, such as Crossroads, Three O'Clock Blues, Western Cowboy, or Me and The Devil Blues. I can't think of too many more. Spoon doing a Talking Heads cover would be cool, but probably too obvious. Not enough bands can cover Spinal Tap's Big Bottom though.

Nobody should be covering "Freebird" at this point in history... that song has been so ground into the mud by millions of cover bands for 30 years now. Let the bird fly away...
