happy birthday GC welcome to the real life. I tell you something weird that happened to me I turned thirty then as i go on in age suddenly women of 35-40 don't seem that old anymore. it was a weird experience for me at least.Comment

Happy B-Day! Like others, I will be turning 30 this August as well. Thankfully, some friends of mine were willing to pay for a ticket for me to go see the Yankees play the Red Sox on my birthday in NYC.
Then, my dad bought two tickets to see the game against the Red Sox the next day! So I'll be going to NY via train that Friday, catching the game, chilling with my friends in NYC for the night, getting a cheap hotel room (Got one on Central Park West for $100 last year), then meeting up with my dad at one of the stadium parking lots to catch the game and then get a ride back home. I'm just hoping that the weather is nice that evening and that my physical therapy for the broken foot is overwith and doesn't have any other issues come up. (My broken foot happened while rehabilitating some tears in my right soleus muscle/tendon).
Anyway, there are some good things about turning 30. You are now in a new age bracket so your auto insurance premium may drop a bit. You can also say that you're banging a girl in the 20-somethings age bracket.
There are some consequences to getting older though. Over the past few years, I've found that when I get hurt it seems to take it a bit longer to fully recover and there are odd aches and pains that pop up from time to time. Had shoulder bursitis last summer which made my right shoulder KILL if I tried lifting may arm above my shoulders, and back spasms have occassionally kicked in that completely take me out. Thankfully, being older means that the doctors are more willing to understand the pain your in and actually give you the treatments that works and not think you're just trying to get more pain medication. In addition, much of that is probably because as you get older, instead of thinking "Awesome, these pills are going to mess me up!" you just think "Awesome, these pills are going to make the pain go away. I just hope it doesn't make me fall asleep."
Though I think the biggest sign that you are getting older is when you start to notice some gray short-curlies.

happy birthday gc , hitting 30 means the students at your school can no longer trust you as they say '' never trust anyone over 30'' . also another good one is '' if you're not a democrat by the time you're 20 , you don't have a heart and if you're not a republican by the time you're 30 you don't have a brain'' again , happy birthdayComment
