Re: The Greatest Play in Baseball
Prelude: A fan goes down on the field and rolls out an American flag.
Interlude: He attempts to strike a match so he can burn the flag. A female [accomplice?] starts to come onto the field with a match herself to assist the man, and Rick Monday (Cubs outfielder, 1972 - 1976) comes from behind them quickly and swoops the flag from the ground right before they get a chance to light it. The male fan throws his lighter at Monday and hits him, which I thought was hilarious as I was thinking, "Sign him up!"
That's basically it. Not saying that's very basic in terms of importance, but that's as accurate of a description as I could get from the video. Oh, and Vin Scully was on the call as it was in Dodger Stadium.Last edited by Blzer; 05-12-2010, 11:37 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
