    Neighbors doing it loudly

So I live in a dorm with pretty thin walls. Actually, they're very thin. Anyway, my bed is against the same wall as my neighbor, who for the past few weeks has had a girl (who I know) come in several nights and they will have sex. It's actually doesn't bother me, believe it or not. In fact, I tend to think that it's kind of funny; these walls are incredibly thin, and the doors also have some hearing room underneath the crack as well... must be embarrassing that there is some good potential for most of the dorm floor to hear them.

But so I'm now in the predicament where it still is a bit awkward. I'm not sure if it's that they are oblivious to the fact that I can hear them, that they think I'm out of the room, or that they think I'm asleep. I think that a body hitting the wall and shaking it is plenty to wake anyone up though anyway, so I'm really not sure what they are thinking. And if they know that I can hear them and don't care, well then I guess this is no big deal. But if they don't think I can hear them, I don't want them to think that I can, as that would be kind of creeperish even though I'm not trying to be. See, if I make any sudden movements or accidentally hit the wall myself or something, they'll know that I'm in my room and if they can hear me, then they would know that I'm fully capable of hearing them.

At the same time, I don't want to disrupt them or put a halt to it. The guy is scoring, ****-blocking isn't exactly one of the man laws that I want to violate here.

I just wanted to know how others would deal with something like this. Should they be aware that I can actually hear them by being able to make noise myself? Should I just ignore it? Any stories you guys want to share?

BTW I only posted this because they were doing it as I was typing this thread, but since then I think the guy's buddy texted him or something so they currently aren't. But this is considered early for them, as they've done it at 3:00 AM at times (normally on weekends).

I think the fact that you've put this much time and thought into it is a little creepy.

Wow, I just looked back at my post and can't believe I typed that much (I'm sure others are plenty unphased however lol).

I'm just guessing they'd much rather consider that they are in privacy, and it is kind of awkward if they knew I could hear it all, especially in the morning when I see my neighbor in the bathroom.

"... So I woke up to you, Taylor, and your bed last night."

Just kind of weird, and I'd rather stay out of that situation.

Set laptop next to wall > "Start", "Accessories", "Sound Recorder" > Click "Record" > Email resulting file to all their friends > Laugh hysterically

That might just be my evil bastard side shining through, but that plan sounds like barrels of laughs to me.

If you have a girlfriend(or sex buddy) why don't you beat him to the punch. You and your girlfriend(or sex buddy) start having sex before he does and see how he likes hearing the noise from his end.

I figure he would know how the sound is already from how much I blast my movies when I get a bunch of buddies over for movie nights (which I always invite them to... my neighbors that is) and blast my HT through the roof.

It's already at the end of the year though. I was just wondering how you guys would have handled it or what you think was most appropriate. There's only a week left, so I'm not really concerned for it.

Laugh and put on some headphones. I've always thought that was the best way to deal with it.

Oh like I said... no wait, I guess I didn't say that looking back. Anyway yeah, I do put on headphones. I normally sleep with them anyway, or to a movie (put on very quietly). I was just saying that I want to make sure that I'm not loud at all, even if it's me sleeping and accidentally rolling over and elbowing the wall, anything that would cause noise. I just want to make sure that they feel alone should they want that, because any sort of indication that they think I'm creeping on them, and it just gets weird afterward.

I know they shouldn't be so oblivious to the fact if they actually are, but I'll respect their privacy... or lack thereof.

I've had neighbors like that but in an actual neighborhood. Every sunday morning it was on and poppin and the entire 6 or 7 houses in the surrounding area could hear them. They were like flippin, howling cats.

Nobody ever said anything and we eventually just moved away. But I tell you what, my kids weren't allowed to go outside on sunday morning till around 1000.

                    Re: Neighbors doing it loudly

I lived in a town house last year, and there was this couple a few units down that would always leave there bead room sliding glass door open when they were having sex. They usually got at it pretty early too, like 7 or 8 o'clock, so anyone who was outside, or had their window open could hear them pretty well. She was a loud one too, lol.

My next door neighbors and I would usually sit out on one of our front porches drinking beer or whatever, and we would just laugh about it, or try to give play by play, or something. The walls were pretty thin, so everyone heard their neighbors having sex anyway... I always heard my neighbors, and I'm sure they could hear me and my girlfriend too.

I wouldn't say anything about though... unless you know your neighbors well, it would probably be a kind of awkward subject to bring up, lol...

"Hey, could you guys do me a favor, and not **** so loud. I can barely hear myself think next door".

Well.......is he beating it up or making sweet love most of the time?

                      Somebody had to ask.

What you need to do is focus on scoring some tail yourself. Only way your neirbors would bother me is if I'm on the Jack It Express to dreamland everynight. If I were smashing some nook on the regular, then it'll be like getting a taste of my own late night sexcapade medicine. Plus I would purposely try to time my sex around theres. That way we can make it a competition. That way you know you'll bring your "A" game cause you definitely dont wanna come in second.....

...n/m me, just shooting from the hip people.

They dont respect your sleep. Why should you respect their privacy?

Disregard my last post. On a serious note, I would probably knock on the wall for them to quiet down. Its not a ***** move or a blocking move, its like someone blasting thier music at all hours of the night. You gotta say something or it'll get worse. No sense of being sleep deprived because you wanna seem like the cool neighbor who doesn't interrupt wild torrid sex.

Now if you could see this deed on the other hand......

Why not fire up a porno crazy loud when they are disrupting your sleep? Maybe they'll get the hint, LOL.

Chances are they start out caring about being quiet but then once they get going they "forget". You may just have to remind them and they will shut the heck up.
