I wanted to strangle Google yesterday.
Usually I keep the Internet locked, so as not to have the students temped to be off task in class, but it had to be open yesterday because they need it for a research project they are working on.
Needless to say playing Pac-man was so much more interesting then doing research. Even the "A" students had to been harassed into getting back on task.Jordan Mychal Lemos

I hated this at first. I thought I had a virus on my computer and wasted 30 minutes figuring out what was wrong. I use Firefox and the Cooliris CoolPreviews extenstion, and so everytime I opened my browser the pacman sound would start playing. I finally figured out that's what it was and had to disable it until Cooliris patched it later in the day to stop it from playing the sound. It happened because my default search engine is google, and so the search bar next to the address bar is google's. So no matter what site I was on it would turn on. That's why it took me a while to figure it out. What the extension does is load up a ton of the links on the website you're on, and so when you hover over any link, you can get a preview in a window w/o actually ever going on that site. It's great for google images and for use on sports or news sites when I don't want to click on a bunch of links and just get the gist of the story. It's a really nice extension.

I saw it and thought, "Oh wow, cool, a PacMan themed Google header." They always do cool things like this. Saw this thread title and ignored it, seeing as I knew what it would say.
Well, decided to read this thread this morning. Didn't know you can actually play the game right there in the header!!! Hands down, 100% the coolest thing ever. The Ms. PacMan part is awesome too.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
