I'd kill it. Odds are it's a vampire in disguise. Sounds harmless until it starts counting everything in your house.

Well, now I can't find the thing. Maybe it went out the way it came in (hopefully).

Damn, I hate this stuff. How do you sleep?

That Modern Family clip sold me on the show. I have to check it out.

One of the most well-written, subtle, hilarious shows I've seen. Honestly. It's already up there.

              Watch it, dude. Amazing.

My wife and I watched it last night. I liked it and I agree it is very well written. My wife isn't too crazy about it, but I think that had to do with a stressful day for her.

I hope the bats get taken care of!

                  Guess what happened again? lol

It's my own damn fault for not fixing where they get in permanently, just kind of forgot about it. Was a pro this time though, guided out of the house and fixed the exclusion. this time I WON'T forget to fix that **** permanently.

They are scary little bastards in the house though, flying fast, nonstop, and about neck high.

So what you're saying is, in 3 years, you still haven't fixed that wall?

It's funny how the first time is the worst, and then you learn how to deal with it and can handle it when the problem may come up again. When my wife and I moved into this old house of ours, I was clueless about certain things that could attract pests, rodents etc.. Since we moved here, we've seen about 3 mice and one rat. I never thought that something could crawl up in between the PVC pipe and whole in the floor, so I never thought to fill that hole. But it only take a hole the size of a quarter for a rat to get through.

It's been about 8 years since the rat and about 3 years since the last mouse. But it doesn't bother me like it used to..knowing now how to address things.

What it is, in my basement where the dryer vent is located, it's half of a basement window and the window is now two sheets of metal that kind of overlap in the middle with the dryer vent in the center. So this overlap, where it'd be tough to force a couple quarters stacked up, is where they are getting in. Way you remedy that, you make a bat exclusion (basically a piece of bird netting over the gap so the bats can get out, but they can't see the netting so they don't know to go down and up under the netting). You have to leave it for a while, so they can get out, and I was going to replace the vent since it's a little beat so I needed to get a new one from Lowes, so it's a bit of a low priority repair. Easy to forget, especially since the window isn't exactly something I look at all the time. it won't be a low priority thing this time, I'm going to be sure to get out and get that new vent as a reminder.

My cousin had a bat in his house once while I was there. We trapped it in a bedroom. So we're searching for it everywhere, I lay down to look under the bed, as soon as I lift up the bed skirt and peek my head under, the damn thing is right in face and shrieks at me. I can't even describe the sound it made. Freaked me the hell out. My cousin panicked, grabbed a pot from the kitchen, and scooped it up quick, smashing its wing in the process, and throwing the whole pot out the second floor window lol... I felt bad for the thing though...
