We were going to do the same thing and get married on 3/29, but that wekend was Easter weekend, so we did it the week before. It's still nice because we typically take a trip somewhere for all 3.It continuously haunts me that we would've had the perfect wedding date on 17 July. Birthday, anniversary, birthday.
But certain family members on her side were "too involved" in our marital affairs... i.e. having to live together for about 5 months prior to marriage due to apt lease expiring... , and the "un-holy" idea of living together prior to marriage. N/m the fact we had been having regular sex for the near two years of dating prior to engagement...
Thankfully though her family has not been so intruding since, and is very supporting and loving. Would've been freaking sweet to forever celebrate our anniversary in the summer, between our b-days.

There was an 8 year difference with the ex. She was 30 and I was 22 when I met her.
There is currently a two year difference between my girlfriend and I and it is working out a whole lot better.
