Re: What makes a sports nerd?
I have every single Joe Montana Football card from his rookie year until about 1994(after that they started releasing an absurd amount of cards, Could not keep up)
I have about 10 different Syracuse Hoodies, 20 different specific T-Shirts for certain games, Gerry McNamera bobble head(as seen on Dwight Shrute's Desk, only 6,000 ever made) a Syracuse Garden Gnome, and many many other stupid Syracuse memorabilia. My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

It really keeps you involved in the game. And I'm an accountant so I'm a sucker for anything involving charts, grids, numbers, and well-organized informationI don't want to hijack this thread, but I'm going to.
Why do people do that? I've never understood that. It doesn't seem the least bit entertaining, especially in today's "jumbotron with all the info on it anyways" stadiums.
Oh, and on the topic, I have these on my car:

Then once in awhile I'll take a look back and it reminds me of the game and the day.Comment

Re: What makes a sports nerd?
Until I redid my bedroom last month I had newspaper articles hanging on my wall from Auburn's 2004 season, and many Iron Bowls, most notable 2005
Every Auburn 2004 home game program, and bunch of other random ones
Now I have an signed Felix Jones jersey framed on one of my walls. And signed Felix Jones and Brett Favre helmets in my room.
I used to go on ebay to buy signed football cards, so I have quite a few of those, mostly Auburn players, though.
Everything on my DVR is from either ESPN, FSN, or NFL Network.
I have about 50 miniature college football helmets.
Trooper Towel
New York Mets towel from 2006 NLCS
College Football Encyclopedia
Still have all my tickets from US Open and PGA Championship at Southern HillsWUSTLComment

Re: What makes a sports nerd?
I could name 100+ high school mascots in Texas.
Because of my job, I know every rule to little league ASA Softball.
I am 20 and haven't moved off to college yet, so my walls are still covered in game posters and full of mavericks 12x14 posters you got free at games.Comment

My Arsenal tattoo on my chest.
In terms of public opinion, it makes me a sports nerd. I don't think so though, I'm just passionate about my club!Blind to this impending fate
