Youtube Stars
Do you like any of them? Most of them are really cheesy (Or even all)

Re: Youtube Stars
Shaycarl was good...now he is kind of meh. I feel like he has changed a bit but I don't blame him...he is a family man and he needs to appeal to as many as he can. I like sXephil. That's about it. I was in a phase of liking RayWilliamJohnson...but I can barely take his videos anymore. I love KassemG if he is considered big. I guess he is now.Comment

Re: Youtube Stars
some people are cool and funny but they tend to run out of ideas. I don't mind Ray William Johnson, he looks at a lot of funny videos it's kind of like Tosh.0Comment

Re: Youtube Stars
Not a fan, especially the vloggers. It's all so unoriginal and bland. Most try too hard to be funny or something and it just comes off as awkward.(I do find a few to be entertaining)
Don't even get me started on that Fred guy.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

Re: Youtube Stars
I agree with ndhusker90...this may be the point of posting on YouTube in the first place, but I find many YouTube vloggers/video makers/personalities/"stars" try too hard to bring attention to themselves instead of just trying something "genuine". It's as if these people are forcing their "fifteen minutes".
When you look back, those who go on to be mainstream celebrities or public figures from YouTube did it without much fanfare, promotion or attention (at least in their YouTube days). These days, it's if people try too hard to be famous or get noticed because they see what YouTube did for people like Justin Bieber, et cetera.
I don't know if anyone else sees it this way, it's just my opinion. I do enjoy watching vloggers from time to time, especially those who are intelligent and have worthwhile things to say...but I'm not a fan of the "genre" as a whole. It just doesn't hold much appeal in my eyes.Last edited by CarryTheWeight; 06-14-2010, 08:49 PM.Owner of URWL CAW WRESTLING: http://www.rantboard.net/Comment

Re: Youtube Stars
I find most of the popular youtube vloggers incredibly annoying and unfunny. The musicians are the ones that I find interesting. There are some great ones on there.

Re: Youtube Stars
My favorite is sXePhil (Philip DeFranco). He does a news show 3 days a week, and he seems pretty down to earth.. I'm pretty sure he get's some profit from it..
Now people like Fred and Shane Dawson piss me off...Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment
