    Contacts

Ok, so I just started wearing contacts this past week. The first day I didn't really notice it but my vision out my left eye is blurry especially from anything more than a short distance but my right eye is fine and I can see clearly out of it. So my question is does my left eye just need time to adjust to the contacts or could it possibly be a sign of some type of astigmatism? Any help would be appreciated.

They probably don't have the prescription right...that's usually my experience.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I had to go back in when they first tried me with astigmatism ones, I couldnt focus on words or anything so we went back to normal.

I'd go back in, there shouldn't be any problems with vision or adjusting really

Yeah, it could definitely be a sign. My friend who has astigmatism said that her contacts would get "fuzzy" every so often, and she finally went in to get it checked out. She has it in both eyes, but I'm guessing it's possible to have it in just one. I'd make an appointment with the eye doctor if I was you.

I don't think I've ever had a time where at least one of my new boxes of contacts wasn't the right prescription. You also could have been off when doing the eye exams.

            Re: Contacts

For astigmatism, the fit of the contact is very important. If it doesn't sit right on the eye, the angles will be off. Also if they move around in your eye it will get blurry until you blink a few times to get it back in position.

You sure you dont have the left one in, incorrectly? Take it out, clean it and make sure it looks like a bowl on your finger. Then put it in and see if its any better.
