Any Spades players?

I remember this being a huge past time back in the day. Strategy and gamesmanship was always key. And don't get caught reneging. We always played with wild cards: Big
Joker > Little Joker > 2 of diamonds > 2 of spades > Ace of spades.......

Sometimes with bags, sometimes with going blind but always heated and fun.

Dominoes was a blast too.

I've played that a few times.

However, euchre was played more and was much more heated in our household. There would be fights and such about reneging, and table talk. It was a blast though.

I played a game of dominoes with my girl last night. She got me tho.

Me and my gf can't play spades together. We are both way too competitive.

She's a better dominoes player but I've beaten her 1 or 2 times.

I love Spades. Me and my friend could hit our book count every time. We didnt lose at all my senior year.

HAHA spades was awesome. I remember way back in 5th grade, a bunch of my friends and I would play it at the lunch table...man those were the days. Sometimes we'd bet our food. "I'll bet you my bag of doritos for your fruit roll-ups." lol.

Big and little joker, no other wilds. Board is 4, can't bid 9.

3 bumps you're off the table, pay double if you end with negative points, if money is involved obviously.

logged a few thousand games on pogo before it got ripe with cheaters.

but I hate playing with 2's or jokers. There are 13 cards in a suit and I prefer to keep it that way.

I play straight up, no passing, no minimum bid...take out as much luck as possible

To keep the game moving along, if both teams bid 5 we considered that "books made"....both teams get the 50 pts and move on to the next hand.
