        my friend yo have gone through the first of the 3 rings of marriage

        1. the engagement ring - ya gave it to her congrats
        2. the wedding ring - that happens on the fateful day

        And finally
        3. the suffering

        just kidding about the third one hope it works out

                Congratulations. As for wedding planning, it would probably be wise to let her do her thing, provided her plans are feasible (money, travel, etc). If you have some things you can't bend on, make your stance clear -- for me it was ham-carving station at the reception -- but realize many things you may consider unimportant may be very important to her. But I guess it depends on what kind of woman you've got...

                And choose your best man wisely. You want someone dependable who can make plans and follow through on them... it will be a great help.

                    Hahaha! Just a tad too much. My fiancee was adamant about having the wedding at 4pm. I said let's have it a 2pm so I can save a grand. She was a little upset, but she got over it. That money is going to our honeymoon though.

                    Things can get very expensive so just keep your budget in mind. You don't wanna start off marriage paying off wedding stuff.
