I was watching TV and in my 2 year old room I hear a scream. It sound like a nightmare scream, so I go into his room and he goes into a Seizure. Now I am freaking out. I am alone and he will not stop. I call 911 and I am freaking out talking to her. I tell her he is having a seizure she asked "if he had a fever". I said "yes he does." She said with kids that age that happens. So I feel a little better. She said they are on their way. She said to get a wash cloth and when I go get the cloth he stopped, when I went back into his room. I thought he died. It was so scary!! I could tell he was not dead, because he was breathing. But when they stopped they go into a sleepy stage. I did not know that. Well after some times at the Emergency Room he is all better now. Freak the **** out me big time. I am still numb!!

Crazy stuff man, when I had a seziure after I collapsed 3 years ago i was knocked out but could hear people talking, and the funniest thing was hearing people arguing about weather or not to stick a finger in my mouth so I don't swallow my tounge.
It is a scary situation to be in.Comment

You just do what you have too. I had the same thing happen to me at that age. So I know a lot of seizures, but as it was happening I forgot all that. It was wild. I am just glad it was me and not my wife, she would have freak. The funniest part is the 911 caller thought I was a lady. I was panicking big time. I kept saying where are you guys!!!!! I am still numb and tonight is going to be a tough night. I kept thinking he was going to die.Comment

I think he means it is better to read it fast to get over it. If you read it slow it will play with you more. Thanks everyone. It was the scariest night of my life. That is for sure. And my wife was out at a friends house. I text her and said Kevin is having a seizure come home now! Her phone was not on ringer. I am just so glad every thing is OK.Comment

Glad your son is ok Scott. My sister had seizures when she was 2 as well. They can be super scary.
Just for the record, you cannot swallow your tongue. Never ever put your fingers in someones mouth while they are having a seizure.Comment
