This guy was 4 inches long, just tore his web down in my front yard.

Like I said, belongs in the rain forest, not Tallahassee.

Just looked it up, it's a harmless Golden Silk Banana Spider, HUGE though.

Those are good for you, eat bugs and stuff. We used to have them in Texas all the time, but I haven't seen one in years. I pretty much live in the Spider Capital of Texas too.

I hate them btw

I don't like bugs for the most part, but I've gotten better about smaller spiders lately. I hate roaches the most out of bugs probably. Part of the reason I'm glad I live in Washington instead of Georgia now. I'm just going to keep hoping I don't see any Aggressive House Spiders (also known as the Hobo Spider) up here. Spiders have made me never want to visit Australia though.

Lately something strange has been happening as whenever I sleep and have a dream that involes a spider, there one in my shower when I wake up. It's happened 6 striaght times. Really odd. I got bored drowning or smashing them thoguh so I started freezing them with an upside down can of compressed air and I burned one with a match.

Edit: And someone remind me not to click on any spiders threads after midnight.

Those aren't spiders in the second .gif... I can't tell what they are, but they aren't spiders...
