1 - why would a parent sign a contract for that sort of thing? Doesn't seem like a healthy family if the child felt compelled that she had to do that to know that the dad would follow through.
2 - what motivation would the dad have for not paying for his child's education in the first place if A) he said he was going to do it, B) he agreed that in his legally-binding divorce settlement that he was going to do it, and C) he promised his child in a legal document that he was going to do it?
I'm not putting fault on the child here.
