So... I just noticed a small munchkin size hole in my wall just under my light and I never noticed it. It might be because I don't usually check there since my light is high on the wall above the doorway. As I passed by my door I noticed the hole... and it looks like something is inside of it. I tried to get a close look, but not too close incase if it really is something. I can't make out what it's supposed to be. It's grey and it looks like it moves around since I see it pop in and out of the hole. If it's just a large dust bunny... I feel like an idiot. It's kind of bothering me.

Sounds like a mouse to me. If you set a trap with peanut butter, you should be able to get it pretty easily. -

Have you ever heard scratching? It sounds like you have a mouse. Mice can get through a hole the size of a dime. A rat can get through a hole the size of a nickel.

I know I have a tiny mouse in my house as I've seen it scurrying around my living room, but is that hole high up on the wall really a mouse hole? How would they even enter that hole, I don't think they can climb.Comment

Might depend on what the wall is made of. Also, might want to look around the base of the wall especially behind furniture. There could be a second hole allowing the mouse to enter at ground level and climb move around inside the wall to get to the hole that is up high.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII

Take a pic with your cell phone and then look at it and see if you can see anything since you cant put your eye up to the hole.
if you want to see if its an animal or not, put a piece of tape over it and go back in a day or so, if the tape is chewed through, you got something. Im like 90% certain dust bunnies are under your bed and dont take up residence in walls, but who knows ive seen stranger.
also, mice can climb, but they arent going to be able to make a hole half way up a wall. I would suspect right where that hole is, there is a beam and the mouse sits on it and chewed through then realized oh crap im half way up a wall. lol.Comment
