    So who has a blog?

I've never been all that interesting in writing but I suddenly got an itch this past month to write some video game reviews on associated content. Then a brilliant idea hit me to create the Weekly Weaksauce Award and write up an off color article handing out an award for basically being the idiot of the week. I want to view some of your guys blogs and hear about how you started.

I have posted a couple of blogs on this forum if you want to read them. I was trying to be more regular at posting but summer and buying a house have let time get away from me.

Re: So who has a blog?

I had a blog about sports that I updated a couple times a day for a few months and I got lucky and it was mentioned in Sports Illustrated once. Then I just became totally burned out, not enough people were reading, so I let it go.

Everyone has a blog now...I think anyone starting one should be doing it for educational reasons for other people to stumble on (with a very specific topic) or just for one's personal use to relieve stress or get thoughts on paper or whatever and not expect anyone to ever read. Otherwise it's a lot of work and usually not worth it unless you try to make a job out of it

I hear ya. I'm trying off color semi-offensive comedy for mine. We'll see how it goes but I did enjoy writing my first post. I'm not a huge writer but who knows, maybe I'll enjoy it and want to expand on it.
