It's just a matter of taste. To me, a 0-2 is perfect (my gf sits right in that range), and for other guys, they want something thicker. Honestly, there are attractive women in both those categories, I just personally would never have a long term I interest in someone in that upper range... It's just not my type at all.

Agreed. I also enjoy women in the 0-2 range which is where my wife fits into. But like you said you like what you like.

It's just a scale...just like in sports video game player ratings, no body should be a 100 (as IMO, that would mean perfection, which does not exist in any sport). A 0 is just a starting point. And I'm sure as groups of women have continued to get smaller and smaller they have had to add numbers on the bottom size of the scale as opposed to revamping the entire sizing scale and confusing millions of woman.

I'm sure 20 years ago a size 2 or 4...or 6 (or 1 or 3...or 5 depending on where your woman shops) was the smallest size most stores would have carried and most manufacturers would have had cut, but as thin became popular, they had do adapt smaller sizes.

I can't recall the name of the research project, but a University of Texas study went about testing men of all varieties in what attraction they had. They didn't know of what they were supposed to be looking at but were only given a "Pass" or "Fail" for whatever images they saw; in the end, women with curves - namely in the waist to hip ratio - received a far greater level of "Pass" than those without, thus further proving that within the deep human psyche to our most neanderthal & animalistic instincts that men desire women who appear better suited to pass on offspring. It's the media and such that has pressured women to be otherwise, and in turn, men begin to desire what the media has placed in the mind for what they should want.

elgreazy1 - thank you for bringing that up, that's very supportive of what I was saying and in fact I do recall reading that but forgot to post about it. Sure each guy has their own tastes but in general men want women who are curvy. Yes you can be skinny and curvy, although its rare, but in general the "fat" women as in fat considered by the media, is actually what men are chasing, not the skinny model type girls that the media adores.

LEGENDKILLER - i'm not talking about fat chicks, why does saying curves implies fat? I guess that's because of how singles sites advertise fat girls but just because a woman is curvy don't mean she's fat, I don't know why some of you guys keep thinking that.

Average = 8, 10, 12

Thick = 14, 16, 18

BBW = 20, 22, 24, 26

Obese = 28 and beyond
