This could either turn into one of the funniest threads here, or get locked before it even gets to 10 posts.

I guess this is what you get when your state is Billions of dollars in debt and has an endless parade of Governors being indicted and jailed. This is nothing new here, gotta look for revenue streams anywhere you can. Hell, the price of a license plate sticker went up $20 this past year.
What a wonderful place to live.

Well read the article further, the title is very misleading. It only outlaws eyerolling during city meetings, and gets you kicked out the meeting in this case and is deemed 'disorderly conduct.'Last edited by NoDakHusker; 07-25-2010, 12:35 PM.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment

That doesn't make it any less ridiculous. It's a gigantic waste of time and energy by officials in a state that's going down faster than the Titanic.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

well even at that, its still ridiculous. I mean, are the city officials that up-tight and insecure that someone rolling their eyes demeans them in such a manner that they feel its necessary to ban it?
Come on ladies and gentlemen, grow up and quit being stupid.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I guess I won't be visiting Elmhurst anytime soon. My eyes involuntarily roll due to my vision problems and such. I'd be kicked out of the town for no reason at all.
Though I guess it would make for a GREAT Civil Liberties court case.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Please...there are stupid laws that have been on the books since this country started forming local goverments.
One of my favorites...In nearby Prince William County VA...It's illegal to park a car on railroad tracks....Seriously, this needed to be a LAW. What...The natural consequences of doing this wasn't enough of a deterrent?Comment
