DC's isn't impressive in the looking good in lights side, but riding from Virginia on the Yellow Line seeing the Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, and Capital is pretty neat.

Am I the only person that picked a city that I have absolutely no ties to whatsoever besides driving through there once every other year?

Re: Most underrated skyline in North America

I wouldn't call Seattle skyline underrated. I live in Seattle and I know the nation is aware of what seperates Seattle's skyline from the rest which is the space needle.

My vote for most underrated skyline goes to Pittsburg. I love the rivers and the bridges leading to the buildings.

                  My favorite skylines:
                  Pittsburg
                  San Francisco
                  Seattle
                  Chicago
                  NYC
                  Toronto
                  Vancouver, BC

                  My least favorite skylines:
                  Los Angeles
                  Portland, Ore
                  Phoenix
                  Atlanta
                  Charlotte
                  Houston
                  St. Louis

Well it's length from top to bottom is 13 miles and from left to right is 3 miles.

Ah I see. Is that just Manhattan? Do Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, ect. have their own skylines too?

                            Yes.

                            My pick is Seattle.

BTW, I hope the OP's suggestion of Detroit was sarcastic.

The Most underrated Skyline in NA is easily Calgary. It has one of the best skylines for a city under 1 million and few people have actually even seen it. This is an excellent skyline because the Buildings are unique, the downtown is Dense, and they have a good mix of height.

here is the Honolulu Skyline, This is not too dense and are all pretty much hotels but I still like it.

I love Denver's and St. Louis' skylines.

I do love my hometown's though, small and simple
