Or on the part that are clear, they don't go over 5 mph ever.
Living in Washington, I'll never understand all the terrible drivers in the rain. This happens all the time.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I just had someone who moved here from Boston say "It's only my wife's 3rd time driving in the rain." I said, "It rains in Boston." He said "Yeah, but they don't drive crazy in the rain like they do here."

Re: Off Topic 2010
Hey ya'll, so I know some of you are aware that I play guitar, but I don't play piano. That being said, I've been learning My Heart Will Go On for the piano since about mid-November. I've finally got it all down to the point where I'm comfortable playing it in front of people, but still with a few mess-ups here and there. But that's neither here nor there lol, as I've finally recorded it (yes, with some mistakes). I wanted to know what you guys thought:

Should definitely win girls over, yeah?
Oh, and the piano is definitely out of tune. It's my residence hall's piano and they haven't tuned it in at least five years.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Haha you know, I was in the kitchen in my dorm and overheard someone playing it in the music room, and I thought, "That's pretty bad-***." A few weeks later, I actually got it down. And I have no idea what keys I'm playing haha it's all through muscle memory.
But I'm telling ya, it'll be a good song to go home to play for my folks. I know they'll love it.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I had to practice/play that damn song in high school for concert band....as an oboist, I even had a solo on the melody somewhere in the middle. Man, I hated that.Hey ya'll, so I know some of you are aware that I play guitar, but I don't play piano. Sounded good to me. (besides the not tuned piano lol). But you break out this and a song on your guitar and the ladies will flock to you haha.Hey ya'll, so I know some of you are aware that I play guitar, but I don't play piano. I always thought about learning another instrument (I was a percussionist) probably violin or guitar.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
That's pretty cool you learned it all through muscle memory, props. My fiancee's brother is a musical wizard and can do the exact same thing with any instrument. I think he can play 7 or 8 instruments and learned them all without taking lessons. He's incredible with any kind of guitar and the harmonica.
I want to know who the dude was that is in, I'm assuming, an all-male dorm room and just goes to a piano and starts play that song?Last edited by WazzuRC; 12-16-2010, 05:20 PM.Comment

No, the residence hall is co-ed, definitely more females.
But the kitchen and music room are both on the bottom floor, separated by a pretty thin wall. You can hear songs clear as day from the kitchen. She was playing some other classical stuff and then I distinguished this song from the rest pretty instantly. I was like, "If only I could play that song..." and now I can haha.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
