Last night I got freaking $45/hr for 6 hours. To me that's a nice check. I know we have some CEO's on here but to the average person it's not bad.

Good thing I have this laptop in the vehicle.

Just threw my name in the hat for a promotion at work. The deadline is tomorrow and I've been thinking about whether I should apply or not for over a week. I don't see them giving it to me since I just started in my current position in March and would be leaving a big hole there. However, I'm more than qualified and it never hurts to put your name out there. It would be more money, which is always a plus.

Again. Not expecting anything out of it. Just putting my name in the hat.

I managed to get an interview for this tomorrow. Busting out the suit. Not even nervous at all. I'm 2 for 3 in major job interviews in my real world career and don't have any expectations going in. My BS skills are strong.

Unfortunately, it was revealed that cigar guy was dressed in a costume and that the mustache is not legitimate. Still, this picture is easily the best sports shot of the year.

I think I now have a bad habit of making insanely long franchise posts. I don't know what gets into me but I just start typing like a MFer once I start making them.

If only those would pass for essays when I was back in school.

I'm a good 6 pages back, but I can't read them for fear of score-blowing posts... hehe...but here are my early reactions:

I like hockey games, even though I rarely watch it. Speaking of which, now that I'm thinking about it I should pick up NHL 11 soon. *goes to check sale ads*

And yes, I realize the Wild are in my sig. And if I'm watching hockey, that's who I'm rooting for, but I'm not all that passionate about it. NFL > College Football > MLB > College Basketball > NBA > NHL.

Ha. I like hockey but it isn't my favorite. During the regular season the only games I watch are Wings games, unless there's nothing else on... or if it's Caps/Pens, I like that rivalry. For me NCAAF > NFL > NBA > MLB > NCAAB > NHL.

What a come back. And I am shocked that the Lions won too. Let's go Steelers.

Matt Dodge sucks and I hate DeSean Jackson even more, just run into the ****ing endzone. And for once can he not show up the other team?

I thought he was trying to kill clock, until I realized it was already at 0. He gets the treatment of a multiple offender though, so he loses the benefit of doubt.

They said fumbles lost should count against you but they never were in the league. I lost.

Ugh that sucks.

Side note... my fantasy team sucks. I did the "auto draft" thing but changed the pre rankings around a bit. Wow. Just a horrible team. I started out hot thanks to Romo, but once he got hurt I was done. Plus I have a weekly running back decision which 2 to start between Jamal Charles, Rashard Mendenhall, and Darren McFadden. I pretty much always leave the best performer on the bench.
