I know, really. I love it when I get junk mail advertising homeowners insurance or refinanancing when the 2nd line of my address reads "Apartment 110" so I clearly don't own a home.I think junk mail senders should at least have to do some research before sending you junk mail.
I got mail today that asked me if I wanted to re-finance my house thru some fly by night credit agency. Guaranteed low rates and pre-qualified..etc.. Ummm..I appreciate the "offer" but my house is paid for.

So I moved to Chicago today.
Chicago is amazing. Aside from my school subsidized housing that gives me double the space, no utilities other than cable, and a location where I don't overlook housing projects and is about half the price of my Maryland apartment, the Comcast person not only shows up the same day but in the time he says he will show up, the food is fantastic, the liquor is cheaper, and people don't yell at you or disregard anything you say to them.
Unfortunately I'm the first American to sign in my housing complex (my school requires foreigners to attend an early language camp) so there aren't many people to talk to yet and my roommate won't show up until the first, but thus far I have no other complaints.Comment

I was getting really sick of watching Mad Men in SD. I hate SD.
On the flip side of that, and because I saw it brought up earlier, Fox forcing you to watch NFL games either in HD or with black bars on top and bottom is ridiculous. I'm digging their new scoring bug, but going this HD-centric is not cool.
