Pretty fun night of sports gaming in the jeremym480 house. I started out the in evening with a 98-88 win in my first ever NBA 2K League. Which was awesome but, it was all down hill from there.
After I finished playing that one of my NCAA 11 cohorts was ready to get our game in. I'm Miss St and he is LSU. He has also had the top recruiting classes the past two years whereas, I've finished in the 30-40 range both season. To make a long story short, I wasn't able to hang. However, I was able to keep it respectable, losing 45-34.
Once that was finished I decided to play another game of NCAA. This time against Illinois (CPU). This game was probably the most frustrated I've been playing NCAA. Robo QB was out in full force. As he completed his first 13 passes and 27-32 for 4 TDs for the game. I was down by 20 at one point but, I was able to make a comeback by putting up 28 points in the 3rd Quarter. I added a FG with 59 seconds left in the game to take a 38-34 lead. So Illi-freaking-nois has the ball with less than a minute and no timeout and what do they do? Drive 80 yards and score on a two yard half-back dive with 1 second remaining. FMNCAAL.
