In-game score updates need to stop! I'm DVRing games and watching them with my screen re-sized to cut off the bottom line, saving me from ruining scores. So of course the jerks do an in-game update to let me know the score of the game that is being recorded. GRRRRRRRR.... it's bad enough when I come in here and mistakenly catch an update but even with precaution I can't avoid it !!!!

When will someone invent an interactive tv or cable/satellite service that allows you to block score updates if you want. I'd say 50% of the games I DVR are ruined by either the TV update, internet update, or friend update via text message.

I hate being sick on days like that and today. I was gonna go out with a few buddies, but I'd rather not cough and sneeze all over everyone.

It's started already, gym was absolutely packed today. First time in 5 months I had to wait because every bench was being used.

I'm looking forward to tonight. My wife, son and I are meeting some of my friends (and their wives) at Red Robin in an hour and then we'll all be heading to the Toyota Center to watch my first ever hockey game (Tri City Americans, WHL).

Looking like a fun New Years night. Hanging out with a whole bunch of friends at one of their houses. Probably play some cards, drink a bunch of good beer, and generally raise hell. Sounds a lot better than waiting a half hour for drinks at the bar.

Hah.....well, just goes to show my craziness about sports is not "an act". And the crazy hair/beard only come out into full effect when I'm doing the playoffs superstition stuff.

I get that way with the Sharks, but since the Giants won I am more relaxed now with sports. It is weird.
