When someone wins a new car on the price is right, that puts a smile on my face

I actually heard it takes the person months to actually get the car. A family friend of my college GF actually won a car on the show and it took her 8 months to actually receive the car. Generally they don't let you receive it until the show airs and then there is a bunch of paperwork to be done to get it from a local dealer. Sadly in Massachusetts she was required to pay the sales tax to the RMV.

I hate waiting for packages. This one requires my signature since it's pretty expensive (components for a computer), but it'll be worth it when I can get it set up. I just hate missing work, because I was in the flow when I left.

I'd just take the cash value of anything I won on there (which I believe is an option). You have to pay taxes on the value of prizes anyway, so might as well just get it over with and buy what you want.

Feel like I've settled into a nice little groove in my life at this time. Anyone else go through this? There's times when everything seems so ****ty and there's nothing you can do about it. Then other times, everything seems figured out or at least planned out well and things are going great. I actually kind of enjoyed my shift at work last night. Yeah, things are looking up right now.

Feel like I've settled into a nice little groove in my life at this time. Anyone else go through this? There's times when everything seems so ****ty and there's nothing you can do about it. Then other times, everything seems figured out or at least planned out well and things are going great. I actually kind of enjoyed my shift at work last night. Yeah, things are looking up right now.

There is no Court more worthless for Americans than the 9th Circuit Federal Appellate Court. They have so many bad, mind numbing stupid decisions and now this when there was already precedent from DC, meaning they should have known when this hits SCOTUS it will go the way it went in DC. To me however that was the lesser of the two evils, how can that man be sentenced to 51 months for what he did? (Rhetorical question, I know how and I hate mandatory minimum sentences).

Seriously don't people get paid to do the job the machine was doing. It would seem as just a matter of common sense you'd want human to human interaction during a call like that. But hey whatever, technology to make people lazy is always good.

School officials said that once the calls start, it is impossible to stop the autodialer until all the calls are made.

I don't believe it is impossible to stop it for a second, I however believe they had no idea how to stop so they just said it was impossible.

Was I the only one who kept picturing the guy from Napolean Dynamite everytime the camera guy talked ?

But anyway I don't know why she was doing that out in public anyway. Not like dozens of other guys didn't secretly record her or take pictures of her butt with their iphones.
