Re: Off Topic 2010
Watching OS real time is also a good way to catch spammers and other TOS breakers. I think all but 1 of the posts I've reported (I've only reported 4 total) I initially saw on OS real time.Steelers : IX, X, XIII, XIV, XL, XLIII
Penguins : 1990/91, 1991/92, 2008/09, 20015/16, 2016/17
Pirates : 1909, 1925, 1960, 1971, 1979
Panthers (FB): 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976
Panthers (MBB): 1927/28, 1929/30Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I've learned my position requires at least 50 HRs per week, with 10 HRs overtime mandatory. But that means more money (I wish it was doubletime although I don't think but maybe 5% of companies offer that type of OT) and I can set my own schedule, as long as I get the hours in...
I don't officially start until the 1st week of next month but, boy, am I ready. I've been coasting here at my current position until I can leave...Finally some stress free work.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Hmm so Netflix finally comes to Canada but there are some drawbacks. All of which aren't really Netflix's fault:
1. It's only their streaming service which is fine BUT the selection isn't exactly the greatest probably owing to the fact that the CRTC (Canadian Radio and TV Commission) with pressure from the big boys here (Bell Globemedia and Rogers) are trying to suppress any kind of competition. Although the selection isn't so bad that i'm not interested.
2. The ridiculous caps on bandwith in this country from Bell and Rogers as they both have caps around 60-80 GBs. 5-8 years ago we had unlimited bandwidth and very fast internet speed. We've been stunted by the major conglomerates not wanting any kind of competition at all to the point that a lot of Canadians have searched for other means to get the entertainment they want. Nonetheless something like NetFlix entering the Canadian marketplace is going to lead to consumer rebellion if there's no flexibility.
On the positive side the service will be free for a month and $7.99 a month. This sounds like a pretty good deal so I may just try it out.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Whoa, wasn't even aware of this. Now we need to get GameFly too.Hmm so Netflix finally comes to Canada but there are some drawbacks. All of which aren't really Netflix's fault:

Re: Off Topic 2010
Some things just get really tiresome with it, such as:
I've had this problem too. Had it with Backbreaker for about a week after it came out. It's super annoying. Same thing when you return a game and they don't get it for a week and you miss out on something else.Anyone had any issues with Gamefly saying a game is "at home", but not receiving it for almost a week? On Friday, according to Gamefly.com, Madden had shipped. It usually only takes them like 2 days after it says it's at home for me to get it. Still no luck. Getting kinda frustrated now. Like I said, they usually get me the games pretty quick, but I didn't know if this is something normal with them, or if I should be concerned.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment
