EA has caved in though do to "outrage" from the families that sent them letters. Anyone who buys Medal of Honor will now be fighting "Opposing Forces". A lot of people I know are actually upset they caved in. I mean we all know who the OpFors in these types of games are supposed to be. Wonder if the PX will sell it now.

I have never seen hype like this for a basketball game. Makes me wonder what I am missing out on. I have never enjoyed basketball games and havent played one in at least 5 years, but I am curious.

The last time I seen this type of a hype for a basketball game was the 1st time they released one on the xbox 360 and people were oooo'ng and awe'ng over the sweat on back of the players jerseys.

But anyway told my wife broke down and said ummm can we turn the heater on ? Just for a tad bit ? LOL I started to say what the hell for its 50 freaking degrees outside and it says it is 70 degrees in the house.

However I said go head turn it on...... She gets cold way faster then I do.

We leave our house at 68 in the winter time. No exceptions. You want it warmer? Light a fire.

So I've decided I'm going to trade in my PS2 slim and all of my PS2 games plus NHL 10 for PS3 and get NHL 11 and another game (Probably Burnout Paradise).

Called into 97.5 the fan at work to talk about Halladay. First time calling into a radio station. Was weird hearing my voice



Also, this I missed both of Halladay's no hitters this year! During the perfect game, I was in South Carolina with my girlfriend and her family fishing for sharks with bad cell phone reception. Tonight I was at work, but had the benefit of my pocket radio I bought yesterday. So I at least experienced this one.

Called into 97.5 the fan at work to talk about Halladay. First time calling into a radio station. Was weird hearing my voice.

In my area there is a local sports radio show where atleast 1 person calls in per day and drops an F bomb that gets through.

It's to the point that I've wondered why the FCC doesn't do something about it.

Then again, I try to listen everyday cuz I have the sense of humor of a 10-year-old.

Just came back from the golf drive range. First time ever trying to play golf. My buddy brought the clubs, so we didn't need to borrow it.

I had a hard time at the beginning hitting the ball, but after a little bit I did it. Many of my shots were flat and stuff, but I got some good ones. Couldn't hit more than 50 yards for now. I guess I either need some lessons, or parctice it myself. But if I get lessons, at least I'll get used to the "right way", rather than trying it my self and after a while getting used to something that might hurt my game.

We'll see.

Do you guys think the weather segment of the news will ever go defunct?

I'm talking about your local news now, not the national stuff on CNN, MSNBC etc.

It's like 8 minutes of maps, graphs and what's going on 3,000 miles away.

In reality, all they need is a scroll telling me what my local weather is for the next 5 or so days.

I honestly don't need the weatherman to explain to me how and where the rain/snow is coming from. I pretty much just take his/her word for it on the forecast cuz I don't have the time to do my own forecasting...if I even had the slightest idea how.
