so you are confiming that Vermont actually only has one grocery store then. So not only do all the citizens of Vermont go to that store, but so do out-of-staters, how does that make the natives feel?

Man, that has to be one crowded *** grocery store. How in the hell do they keep the shelves stocked?

Let me tell you that 5 hour drive from Newport to Bennington sucks when you just need milk. For the record I grew up in Vermont, in the Burlington area I can think of 6 grocery stores.

2. My wife's cousin own 1/3 of the state of Vermont. No lie, he owns 21 commercial properties, 15 houses and 4 businesses.

so there are only 45 houses and 12 businesses in the entire state? Damn that is one small state.

Must be some big houses because according to wiki there are 621,760 people in Vermont. Can you imagine having to live with 13,815 other people?

LOL...can't wait til the 15th of the month when I finally get to use the bathroom.

I'm concerned with the fact there are only 12 businesses. What the hell are they? I bet the houses near the grocery store sell for a pretty penny.

Could you imagine having to drive several hours just to go to the grocery store?

That sucks.....no public transportation where you live ? I know when I lived in this town in northwest Indiana they didn't have any. And where I live at now in Vermont is pretty much the same way, it is a driving kind of a town.

Another random thought of the moment that I will share:

Until you have PTSD, you will never fully understand it. I ran into my army buddy today at the grocery store, he has it but they won't discharge him, for years they just told him its just in his head. Not only that, but they trying to jam him up over his DAV benefits.

The way they treat vets is messed up on so many levels. I swear you have to perform tricks and jump through flaming hoops just to get 100% service connected.

After my dad had a stroke, I lost all my money to nursing homes, and I had to sell my car for rent, it sucks, but what can you do.

I said this in the hockey forums but I think it bears repeating.

The NHL is the only professional sport in which i truly feel that the players are passionate and truly play for the trophy rather than the money.

Lord Stanley's Cup is the most prestigious title in North America.
