Re: Off Topic 2010
There are 314 people in the U.S. with my official name.
There are 14 people in the U.S. with the name that I might change it too...which has caused a major fight in my mom's family (who were already going for each other's throats, but that's a story for another day.)
And my vote goes to CP33, migetLast edited by Watson; 10-26-2010, 09:19 AM.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: Off Topic 2010
I did that...I was a foster kid, and was enrolled in school under my foster family's name, even my transcript in HS was in my foster family's name, and I didn't change it legally til after I graduated. All it took was $60 , and a judge's signature.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
Well, the thing is that my mom comes from a family that has a very, very proud south Louisiana tradition. Thing is, most of my cousins with the St. Pierre are girls...and so some of my family (the ones who don't have a St. Pierre last name) want me to get the name change while the others (the ones who do have the St.Pierre last name) doesn't want the change.
and oh yea, my mom had 14 brothers and sisters, which means 28 aunts and uncles, and about 35 of my first and second cousins who are old enough to have an opinion in this topic.
And like I said, that isn't even the main reason everybody is so pissed off.And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I feel like people should be called whatever's true to them...just like when a woman keeps her last name after marriage.Well, the thing is that my mom comes from a family that has a very, very proud south Louisiana tradition. Re: Off Topic 2010
that's what I think. If the little girls want to keep their names (in 15 years...), then cool. More St. Pierre's around. the more, the merrier the reunion...I'm personally for changing it...
Spoiler
because St.Pierre sounds 10x better than HendersonAnd may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

Re: Off Topic 2010
Why do you want to change it? Is there a legit reason?Well, the thing is that my mom comes from a family that has a very, very proud south Louisiana tradition. Edit: Is it to carry on the name because the other half of the family had a bunch of girls?Comment
