Re: Off Topic 2010
I went to youtube and this guy Tay Zonday had a video in the front page, so I watched it... It really made me laugh. I can't believe this guy actually has a career as a singer. In my opinion he's just terrible, not to mention that it looks like it's not even his real voice.

Re: Off Topic 2010
Well, I just had me some Five Guys. Had a bacon cheeseburger with fried and a drink. Like Matrix said, it is expensive, but you do get a lot of food. I was pretty good to, I'll probably go back once in a while but not to often based on what I read on Wikipedia regarding the nutritional value of their food.
Then when I was walking home one of the metal brackets holding the strap on my practically brand new laptop case snapped.
Guess it just couldn't stand up to the constant jarring of the frequent walking I do (and my natural gait is practically a power walk). Now I have to check to make sure my laptop isn't damaged and I guess it's back to carrying in in my bookbag.

If you do that for every fast food place and pretty much everything you regularly eat, you won't want to eat anything at all.I'll probably go back once in a while but not to often based on what I read on Wikipedia regarding the nutritional value of their food.

Dammit.
Just found out that one of my best employees is retiring effective Dec. 3. And this being a government entity with dwindling budgets, we will not be replacing her. So now I get to dump a bunch of work on the others. It's not going to be a fun month dealing with the hard feelings from that...Comment

Lol. Truth.
Not the greatest b-day for me so far. Had to clean 3 inches off snow of the car this morning, had "Respectful Workplace" training all morning, didn't have time for lunch as I'm playing catch-up, and then this afternoon bombshell. Someone beer me already.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2010
I tried Five Guys a few weeks ago too. I thought it was pretty good but, probably not worth the price/drive for me. I mean, if I were hungry and near that side of town I would probably grab some. However, there's a little local place called Burger Delight, near where I live that has burger's that are just as good and at almost half the price.Well, I just had me some Five Guys. Had a bacon cheeseburger with fried and a drink. Like Matrix said, it is expensive, but you do get a lot of food. At Five Guys, my gf and I got one bacon cheeseburger, one small cheeseburger, one order of fries and two fountain drinks for around $18-19.
At Burger Delight I could have probably gotten a bacon cheeseburger, a cheeseburger, two milkshakes and two order's of tater tots for less than $15 because the place isn't your average run of the mill restaurant. It's just a little drive up spot with no indoor seating. The only place to sit is outside on two picnic tables they have set up underneath two old oak trees. I guess that helps keep their overhead down so they're able to sell thing's a little cheaper.
Here's a pic of Burger Delight along with some customer reviews:
