I try and avoid soda at all costs. It is tasty, but not good for you or a diet.

You have your liquid golds like DR. Pepper, Fanta Orange/Grape...

But I do love some Mello Yello!

I personally think it stomps mud holes in Mt. Dew, and it is making a big comeback again! Long live Cole Trickle and his great taste in the fine bubbly beverage!

Want a place that stays open to 4am, go to one of the hood joints. The type of joint where their food comes in a plain brown paper bag and it is so greasy it has the bag shiny looking, even AFTER they doubled the bag.

The type of place where it is a 3 inch bullet proof glass pane they stand behind and you got to holla out your order through a glass circle and slide your money under the glass. Then they pass you your food through a mini revolving door on the counter.

It is a place with no chairs, standing room only, where they give you a number ticket. As you stand there you have one eye on the people in there with you and your other eye on your car parked outside.

The type of place where the police don't patrol that hood at all, see hookers walking up and down the street, drug dealers standing on the corners openly dealing with no fear of arrest.

But despite the area, that food is the shiznit. It is a place that asks you if you want mild sauce or ketchup on your fries. Ask you if you want mild sauce or hot sauce on your chicken wings. Not only does it serve burgers and chicken, but also combinations, gyros, italian beef, rib tips, pizza puffs, fish, hot dogs. After you eat it, you get the itis and fall asleep.

Not too many of these exist in DC anymore and I'm sure you probably know why that's the case.

I thought it was funny when I was in the military and in college, some people never even heard of the word mild sauce. They were like what is that mild sauce you speak of ?

Oh we definitely know bout it here. Basically almost the same as Mambo Sauce except without the Hot Sauce.

The burden of family, we have a family even tonight so I can't watch FSU-NC State until late tonight or more likely tomorrow. I don't care about some cousin's birthday but I do care about what the consequences will be on Saturday night if I don't go.

So, apparently, last night at the JV game, our cross-town (literally. you only need 2 left turns and 6 miles worth of gas to get there) rivals pulled one of out players out of bounds and stole our playcalling wrist bands off of him. So we had to make new bands...and with coaches approval, me and my freind got 2 of the old cards...on the first play when we go out of bounds on their sidelines, we're going to reach in our skull caps and toss out old cards on their sidelines. What's going to be written on the back of them.....well

Just found out the in-laws aren't going to be home for the world series game tonight. They're all (including my wife and kids) going to my neice's house to see the new baby. That means 2 things.
1. I don't have to cater dinner tonight.
2. Empty house.

This job is crazy. Here it is Friday tomorrow. I can't believe how fast the weeks go. It feels just like yesterday I said Friday is almost here and it was Monday when I said that on this thread years are going too fast. Time to look for another job.

Just found out the in-laws aren't going to be home for the world series game tonight. They're all (including my wife and kids) going to my neice's house to see the new baby. That means 2 things.

Anoybody ever notice how terrible user reviews for games are on sites? Seems like anytime someone doesn't like 1 thing about a game they give it a score between 1-3. How many games out there are actually that bad? Not many.
