                Wow man, same thing happened to me a few more years ago. My grandfather on my Dad's side passed on around 10 years ago, and his wife joined him some 5 years later. We went to visit both of the grandparent sides in Indiana for Thanksgiving like we'd always done, and that would be the last time I saw her. She died a few weeks later, in between the time where we went to meet them again at Christmas. It happened so fast that we couldn't even get down to Indiana before she passed on.

                These days the house has even been sold, and we don't go back home for Thanksgiving anymore. We still visit my mother's side on Christmas, though. And of course, to pay our respects.

                Treasure them, because you'll never know when you won't see them again....

                        Debating ditching DirecTV and seeing if I can survive on Netflix, Hulu Plus, Vudu, and potentially Apple TV

                            The thing I miss the most is sports. Espn/TNT/TBS/MLB TV etc.. But the thing I love the most is no cable/satelite bill.

                                Wow! I didn't think today would effect me as much as it has. First Thanksgiving without my Grandpa. I've been an emotional roller coaster this morning.
                                I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

                                I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

                                    Yeah I figured I could do online streaming for some sports. In the end, $20 + random rentals is better than $85

                                        Yeah, I was paying upwards of 180.00 for Tv/Internet/phone now I pay around $50.00 including netflix.
