I found the following widely popular tv shows unfunny:

The Office
Scrubs
Seinfeld
Friends
Curb Your Ethusisam
How I met your Mother
Entourage
Dharma & Greg
Boy Meets World


I never could get into those shows.......

I personally love Entourage. I thought Scrubs was pretty good too and Friends had its moments. The rest I've never really seen that much of, although I have seen a few funny things from The Office.

I don't know if Seinfeld is unfunny/overrated because like I said earlier, I never saw a full episode, but it must be pretty damn good if so many people like it and you hear Seinfeld references all the time.

Seinfeld overrated, I'll never understand it. This is coming from someone who hated it to begin with. When you can read law school textbooks and come up with a connection to a Seinfeld episode, I don't give a damn, it's amazing.

I guess you gotta have a certain sense of humor for it. Dark, sarcastic, cynical, observant....

I agree. I can't see why people think Seinfeld is overrated. I own all the seasons.

My dad is in the boat that thinks it is overrated and my wife gets no humor out of it.

Yep, like you said, you have to have a certain sense of humor I guess. I've seen every episode dozens of times and it never gets old. On a daily basis I can relate a Seinfeld episode with an event that goes on in my day.

Yeah strep throats a bitch, and For some reason I tend to come down with it on Christmas eve. Like 3 times I've had it exactly on Christmas eve, kind of weird.

That's my sense of humor, though, and the few people I know who love it always tell me something like "I feel like you should love this show" and I have seen probably 10-15 episodes - including the Soup Nazi, Marine Biologist and one of the other ones people usually say is a favorite - and have never laughed.

As I've said plenty on this site, it's easily the most overrated piece of TV/movie/media that I've ever seen.


And Brandon...I guess that depends what type of game you want. They're obviously completely different, so if you want the over-the-top fun NBA Jam would give you or the slightly more realistic MMA game is the choice. I haven't played either so I can't sway you one way or the other.

I'd go with MMA, I think. Haven't played either, but it would strike me that MMA would be a different, new, and fun game to learn to play, whereas with NBA Jam, fun as it may be, you more-or-less know what you are getting.

What are some good national radio talk show to listen to? Something that talks about day to day stuff, not political or sports talk, just funny and entertaining.
