I check my Facebook a few times each day, but I don't see how anyone could be addicted to it.. unless you're just randomly checking out everyone's profiles.

You think Facebook addiction is bad......obviously you never checked out Yahoo Chat. But pretty much a good number of people that be hooked on social websites be creepin.

Find a good number of married women and married guys cheating on their spouses with the neighborhood college kid. Why my brother in law is so paranoid about that, he doesn't even allow his wife to have a Facebook page or any social website page.

From like 2003-2006 I went into the NFL Yahoo voice chat nearly every day, and there were a TON of regulars. It got to the point where if you looked at what time it was, you had a good idea of which people were in there.

On another note, I had a long debate with my friends about this tonight:

Since like the end of our Senior year in high school, my friends have insisted on calling me "Bunny". Pretty much a horrible nickname. I really couldn't care less if they call me that when it's just us hanging out, but I HATE when they introduce me to girls as that instead of my actual name. To me, my credibility is instantly gone and the girl(s) Friend Zone me the second they hear it. They say it's just me, and they could use that nickname and not have a problem. Who's right here?

Broseph, if they introduce you as that to girls you've got an instant icebreaker. Is there a good back story? No? Make one up and start using it.

I don't know, that isn't the worse nickname I heard. Hell turn it around and use it to your advantage. The possibilties of cool tie ins of why that is your nickname are endless.

And with that, my first foray into the Off Topic thread is an embarassing piece of info about myself. Bunny is a bad nickname I'll grant you that, but how about "Shorty" for a 24 year old man.. I've been basically small for my age my whole life. Ever since elementary school I've had this nickname and its stuck with me all the way until now. My closest of friends still call me by it, although its use has dwindled since high school. However, some of them know me only by Shorty and will introduce me to people as such, and I'll have to introduce myself as Matt. Seeing as how its now pretty universal to call a girl "shorty" I have grown to dislike this nickname over time even though I'm so used to it. Moral of story: there could be worse nicknames than Bunny (but thats bad too and I feel for you my man).

That's how I am. My friend will be like "this is my friend Bunny"...then the girl(s) laugh, then I'll usually just say "Josh works too", and then my friend will say "no, your name is Bunny".

The actual story behind the nickname is horrible*, I just haven't come up with a good story yet

* - The original nickname was "Little Buddy", which my friend's dad misheard as "Little Bunny". The "Little" was thankfully dropped.

So there's this local restaurant/bar here where I live that I've gone to the past two weeks to see the Colts game since it wasn't being shown here(and I don't have Direct TV). Last week the Jags/Colts game was being shown as the primary game, on the big screen + sound, and I assumed it was because it was the biggest/most meaningful game being played at the time(I was still surprised though as the Dolphins and Bucs were playing at the same time, you'd think living in South Florida they'd be showing one of those two games). Came back to this place today expecting them to show a different game and me having to watch the game on a small TV somewhere in a corner with no sound, but to my luck it's Colts/Raiders. Found out later that the owner/manager of the place is a Colts fan and since she has power, she shows the Colts game as the primary one every Sunday. Needless to say I'll be going there every Sunday now(well, on days where I don't get the game at home).
