Re: What are you watching? Pt II
Been going through the first season of Columbo (only one more episode to go) than i'll be starting on a 1976 TV Mini-Series called Backstairs at the White House which chronicles the lives of White House servants and such who served from the Taft to Eisenhower administrations. The mini-series had a lot of accomplished actors involved in it.
Tonight (or tomorrow) though i'll be watching the '92 NFC Championship Game.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: What are you watching? Pt II
Highlights of the "only playoff game in college football", the 2001 Auburn/LSU game.
The game was pushed back because of 9/11, so it was held on December 1st. The winner would advance to the SEC championship game.
Also: this is the first documented time anybody ever tried stomping on the Eye of the Tiger, and it was the the equivalent of throwing raw meat into the student section on this night. It wasn't smart then, and it ain't smart now. I'm still amazed every time anybody does it. AND it drew a 15-yard penalty that would prove very costly.
SpoilerAuburn won the toss, so knowing they would be penalized 15 yards, elected to receive, hoping to draw a touchback. Nick Saban doesn't play that ****. He went for the onside and LSU recovered it at the Auburn 35 yard line. The butthurt on Tommy Tuberville's face is priceless. You would love it SPTO

Re: What are you watching? Pt II
I just watched Kick-*** for the first time.. Not sure why I didn't before, but I LOVED it. It's crazy how Chloe Moretz (Hit Girl) was only 12 at the time and she's 14 now.. She already is one hell of an actress, she has some Oscars coming her way.Chicago Bulls | Chicago Bears | Chicago White Sox | Chicago BlackhawksComment

Re: What are you watching? Pt II
Anyways my last look-see in my collection was 1980 Week 11 MNF Oakland Raiders/Seattle Seahawks. It was a really great game with some neat little trick plays including Seattle PK Efren Herrera faking a FG and running a pattern as he catches the football and runs in for the TD!
Next up is 1990 Alabama/Tennessee.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Vietnam in HD on History Channel.
This isn't Hollywood's version of events. It's real footage and real stories as told by those who were there.
Fascinating stuff........Comment

I'm halfway through the '90 ND/Tennessee game.
I was shocked as hell to see Mike Francesa worked for CBS as a halftime co-host!Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
