PSII is a great console, lots of classics to play.

I still have my Dreamcast and some of the games for it are timeless.

I still have my original PS3(backward compatible) and still play the old college football games. But even if I didn't have a PS3 I'd have to dust off my PS2. The PS2 is awesome and has a great selection of games.

I did a search on GameStop.com for stores around Baton Rouge that have it, and both the store in Baker and the store in Thibodaux have it in stock according to the website. I have no idea how close that is to you.

EDIT: Also, the PS2 I ordered was 40 bucks at GameStop. So there's that.

That's what I did after my fat PS3 konked out. This year, I brought my PS3 and PS2 slims to college with me. If only the controllers would work properly, they are really old.
