I'm going to build a scrolling LED sports/stock Ticker for my gameroom. The Pi will be the brains, and that way I can make it all self-contained.

I'll be documenting the process and parts as I go along, as I do with most of my projects.

Slab, my wife is unhappy with you. Your LED post now has me looking at buying a 74 inch LED ticker now...if you jumped off a bridge, I would probably jump too. I now need the LED ticker in my life, and the recessed lighting that you have. She has asked if I would put you on my Ignore List.

The model I'm looking at costs $899. I'm not technically inclined so I can't build one.
