Re: Post your most recent purchase
Finally bit the bullet on this guy. I've been eyeing it for about 8 months to complete my Sonos home theater setup (Playbar and 2 Play:1s). The price tag was steep but man does it sound great. I know there are better systems out there for a bit cheaper overall but the simplicity of these things is a key feature for me. Literally plug into power outlet, add to existing system with phone app, and you're ready to go. No wires, no hassle, no mess. I couldn't be happier.
Back to the sub. The sound is very tight and solid. You get the "feel" of the lows instead of the "rattle" of the lows which is key IMO. I've watched Star Wars Rogue One and Captain America Civil War so far and while it sounded very good without the sub the addition has made it just a richer, more realistic experience. Music is on a whole other level now too. My kids love it as well. Apparently they got the audiophile gene from me lol.
The only down side is the wife isn't about all that lol. So I can only really crank it when she isn't at home. Ah well. Nothing's perfect.Comment

Re: Post your most recent purchase
I have had so many systems it's hilarious. From a full 6.1 set up consisting of top of the line Polk Audio center channel, 2 Polk floor standing speakers, 3 Polk bookshelf speakers for the rears, and 2 10" MTX subs all coming out of a 600 watt pioneer receiver, to a Bose Cinemate 2 more simple setup. That first set was just ridicules. So crazy when turned up. The Bose was nice and that's what I had for years until I went the Sonos route. I actually never planned on switching but after I bought a Play:1 I fell in love with the sound. Held off for awhile and then committed by getting the Playbar. I just never thought a true wireless system would ever sound this good.Comment

Super sexy. Makes me kind of sad that it's totally hidden away behind our recliner against the wall. But it's the best spot for it so oh well.
